Day 32, 2 August 2009, Litchfield National Park

Had a short drive to Litchfield National Park, just south-west of Darwin.

Set up camp in the Safari Caravan Park, about 80 km from the nearest town, Batchelor. The park's lots of fun: nice showers and toilets, a small aboveground pool with milk crates as steps, managed by two very laid back English backpackers. Lots of small wallaroos, little light brown critters about 300 mm high.

Went to nearby Wangi Falls: beautiful water falls cascading into a plunge pool, lots of people swimming happily.
