Day 75, 14/9/2009, Albany to Esperance

The rain’s petered off and the wind’s dropped significantly.
Nice drive to Esperance. We’re in ‘going home’ mode now, so I don’t think we’ll be stopping anywhere for long.

Pam went for great walk on the beach, looking out at many islands from the Archipelago of the Recherche. Would have loved to go on boat trip, but not available for a few days. Want to come back here.
Purchased some CDs for our Nullarbor venture: the Two Ronnies, and short stories. We are excited about “the big drive.”

Met ‘Clocky’ in the local and shared a couple of middies. Watched the local footy club enjoying Mad Monday. As they had obviously started very early in the day we avoided eye (or any other kind of) contact.
