Pam's first drive. Three ladies having a quiet session in the pub in the main street. One throws her scratchy at a bloke down the bar. He dumps his beer and the two next to him in laps of the next three bar sitters. Place goes up for grabs. Cold night.
For non-Aussie bloggers, Pam explained that "scratchy" is a lotto ticket. I suspect, but have not had confirmed, that the tick was a winner, thus the dynamics among the patrons. I could be wrong; Americans are not as nuanced as Australians.
